Founded in 2007 by world renowned snowboarder Jeremy Jones, Protect Our Winters (POW) helps passionate outdoors people protect the places and lifestyles they love from the effects of climate change. In the future they envision, the world embraces renewable energy, electric transport, breakthrough technologies and market policies to achieve carbon neutrality by the mid-century. POW believes innovative businesses are essential to this future vision by rapidly developing and deploying the technological solutions and financial capital to advance a clean energy transition. The Rocky Mountain Venture Capital Association’s mission is to build the most robust venture capital network in the region with community, connections and trust at the heart of the organization.
